Marketplace Addendum for Customers

1. What this addendum covers

This addendum adds to the Terms of Service and applies when you find, book or pay for services from independent vendors through the TenantLoop Marketplace (the "Marketplace"). If the two conflict on a Marketplace topic, this addendum controls.

2. TenantLoop’s role

The Marketplace connects you with vendors. Vendors are independent businesses, not TenantLoop employees or agents. Your contract for a service is with the vendor. We do not guarantee a vendor's work, licensing or insurance, although we may run basic checks. [Describe any vetting.]

3. Booking and payment

Prices, schedules and scope come from the vendor and are shown before you book. When you pay through TenantLoop, our payment partners process the payment and may hold funds until the job is marked complete. Marketplace fees, if any, are shown before you confirm.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give vendors accurate information and safe access to the property.
  • Make sure tenants are given any notice required before entry.
  • Review completed work promptly and raise problems quickly.

5. Disputes

Try to resolve issues with the vendor first. If you cannot, contact us and we will help where we can, but TenantLoop is not responsible for the vendor's performance. Refunds follow the vendor's terms and any Marketplace policy shown at booking.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, TenantLoop is not liable for loss or damage caused by a vendor's services. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
