Vendor selection for work order #1002
2 of 3 plumbers replied. Reliable Plumbing quoted $180 and can come Thursday.
- You choose where a person signs offEvery step that can wait for approval has a switch. Opening a work order, picking a vendor, the bill, the offers and the lease draft wait for you out of the box.
- Every action is on the recordEach step, message and decision is written to the agent’s activity log with who did it: the agent, or the person who approved.
- Hard cases come to youSensitive messages, a tenant who refuses entry, a vendor who never replies or a question your policies do not cover all come to you with the thread attached.
- Stop any run, any timeEnd a run from its page and carry on by hand. A decision can be undone for a few seconds after you click.

The worries we hear most. With how it actually works.
What does an AI agent do in property management software?
It carries a whole job, not one task. Our four agents each start on their own when something happens (a tenant writes, a new lead inquires, a repair is reported, a lease nears its end), work through a fixed set of steps on your real records, and finish with a result you can check: an answered question, a booked tour and an application, a closed work order with a bill, a signed renewal.
Agent or Assistant: what is the difference?
The Assistant works when you ask: it answers, drafts and suggests, and you press send. Agents work without being asked, across days, inside the rules and approvals you set. The Assistant comes with Pro; the agents come with Premium, which also includes the Assistant.
Will an agent act without asking me?
Only on the steps you leave open. Each step that can wait for approval has its own switch, and the steps that commit you to something (a work order, a vendor, a bill, renewal offers, a lease draft) wait for you out of the box. Until you are comfortable, you can keep every one of them on hold.
And if an agent makes a mistake?
You can see exactly what happened: every step, message and decision is in the agent’s activity log with who did it. End a run at any time and carry on by hand, and undo a decision in the seconds after you click it. A message that was already sent cannot be unsent, which is why sending steps that matter wait for you by default.
Will it take my team’s jobs?
No. Agents do the chasing and the paperwork around decisions; the decisions stay with you. Anything sensitive, unusual or outside your policies comes to your team with the thread attached.
How is this different from an AI tool plugged into my software?
The agents live in the same system as your leases, ledger, work orders and vendors. They read the real record, write to it with the same history your team uses, and stop for approval on the same screens. A bolt-on tool only sees what it is sent, and its actions sit outside your books.
What happens to my data?
It stays in your TenantLoop account. To understand a message or draft an answer, the text it needs is sent to Claude, Anthropic’s model, and the result comes back into your account. The AI Assistant only sees what the person asking is allowed to see.
