Anti-Spam Policy

Rules for sending email, text and voice messages through TenantLoop.

Draft for review by counsel. This document is a plain-language draft for the preview site. It is not in effect and is not legal advice. Items in [brackets] must be completed.

Version: draft, not yet effective

Purpose

TenantLoop lets customers message tenants, owners, vendors and prospects. This policy keeps those messages wanted, lawful and deliverable.

  • Only message people who have a relationship with you or have agreed to hear from you.
  • Get the consent the law requires before sending marketing texts or automated calls, and keep a record of it.
  • Do not use bought, rented or scraped contact lists.

Content

  • Identify your business in every message.
  • Use honest subject lines and content.
  • Include a working way to opt out of marketing messages, and honor opt-outs promptly. Texts must honor replies such as STOP.

Quiet hours and frequency

Respect local quiet hours for texts and calls and keep frequency reasonable. Service messages such as payment receipts are fine at any time.

Enforcement

We may pause messaging, suspend accounts or report abuse when we see spam complaints, high bounce rates or messages that break the law. Report abuse to legal@tenantloop.com [confirm].
