Can I use the business phone today?
Not yet. The business line is coming soon, once TenantLoop numbers are switched on. Today you reach tenants by email, portal messages and announcements, all in one inbox.
Who answers when a tenant calls?
Your team, first. Calls to your TenantLoop number will ring the teammates you choose, all at once or one at a time, depending on who is calling. On Premium you can let the AI Receptionist pick up after hours or when nobody answers, once the number is on.
And when a tenant rings at 11 pm?
Without the AI Receptionist, the caller leaves a voicemail that lands in their conversation in TenantLoop. With it (Premium), the agent answers by voice from your policies, opens a repair request when something is broken, tells anyone reporting fire, gas or flooding to call 911 first, and passes callers who ask for a person to your forwarding number or voicemail. It reads out a balance only when the caller’s number is verified by the carrier.
Can I call tenants from my computer?
Yes, once your number is on. A call window in the browser lets you call a tenant, owner or vendor from their record using the company number, and the call is filed on their conversation. Like the line itself, this is coming soon.
Can my team stop handing out their own cell numbers?
Yes, once your line is switched on (coming soon). Tenants, owners and vendors then call and text one company number, and your team picks up from their own phones without sharing them.
Will calls and texts be logged?
Yes. Calls, voicemails and texts will sit in the person’s conversation next to their emails and portal messages, so the whole history is on the record.
Will the AI Receptionist reply to texts?
On Premium it answers tenant emails and portal messages today. Texts and calls on your TenantLoop number join once the number is switched on, and you choose whether it answers calls always, after hours or only when nobody picks up.
